With extremely low rates buying a house that may be over valued (accordiny to the author) up to 10%, still works out cheaper than buying back into the market at higher mortgage rates (i.e. 10%). The decision to buy is never as clear cut as one factor. Certainly in times or rapid price inflation or deflation caution should be exercised.
